Ceremonial meeting of Shoa survivors in the Czech Senate

The International Holocaust Remembrance Day is traditionally the day, when the Federation of Jewish Communities together with the FHV organises a ceremonial meeting of Shoa survivors in the Czech Senate. The event was as always attended by representatives of the Czech Republic, ambassodors and representatives of Jewish organisations. The meeting is organised under the auspices of the head of the Czech Parlament Mrs. Miroslava Nemcova and the first vice-chair of the Czech Senate Mr. Premysl Sobotka. Both of them held their speaches during the meeting. The survivors were represented by the head of Terezin Iniciative Mrs. Dagmar Lieblova and the Roma victims were represented by the head of the Organisation of Moravian Roma Mr. Karel Holomek in their representative speaches. We wish to thank the FJC for cooperation and our volunteer Jana Malakova for her help.
